Good evening! There will be a countywide meeting for rising 10th, 11th & 12th grade students of BOTH high schools on Wednesday April 24th at 6pm at the Nicholas County High School Auditorium. Rising 10th, 11th & 12 grade students & parents are highly encouraged to attend to learn about the newly developed dual credit pathways that will put students on track to a collegiate certificate or associates degree from New River Community & Technical College. The exciting opportunity includes free tuition, saving both time and money while leading to an earlier completion of educational goals. We hope you will make plans to attend this presentation. Nicholas County Schools will release 3 hours early on Friday, October 13th, 2023 for Faculty Senate. All Faculty Senate days will be a 3-hour early release.

This is a reminder Nicholas County Schools will have a 2 hour early dismissal for students on Friday April 21, 2023 due to state mandated faculty senate.

Our National Honor Society/Student Council "Shop with a Lumberjack" project is in full swing! If you are interested in donating, Mrs. O'Dell and Ms. Gillespie would like to have donations in by mid week next week. Each child will have $50 worth of gifts purchased, but no donation is too small. Please consider helping our community service project.
